Demikianlah para Asura dan para Sura bertempur dengan tombak sakti, lembing, trisula, gada, dan kapak—mendamba kemenangan serta diliputi amarah—saling menerjang laksana singa di kawasan Himalaya yang sukar dilalui. Lalu, dihantam para dewa dengan rangkaian senjata tertinggi, para Asura pun roboh berguguran.
