नमस्कृत्य वचोऽवोचमिति भाव्यर्थनोदितः । तथा मतिस्तथा मित्रं व्यवसायस्तथा नृणाम्
namaskṛtya vaco'vocamiti bhāvyarthanoditaḥ | tathā matistathā mitraṃ vyavasāyastathā nṛṇām
Setelah bersujud hormat, aku pun berkata—terdorong oleh maksud yang tersimpan. Sebab pada manusia, sebagaimana pikirannya, demikian pula sahabat yang dipilihnya dan usaha yang ditempuhnya.
