yo me pratibalaścāpi sa me bhartā bhaviṣyati | evaṃ ca samayaṃ śrutvā bahavo daityarākṣasāḥ
“Dan siapa pun yang setara denganku dalam kekuatan, dialah yang akan menjadi suamiku.” Mendengar syarat itu, banyak Dānava dan Rākṣasa pun maju.
