कृशोतीव गलत्कुष्ठी प्रमुह्यंश्च पदेपेद । नंदभद्रमुवाचेदं कृच्छ्रात्संस्तभ्य बालकः
kṛśotīva galatkuṣṭhī pramuhyaṃśca padepeda | naṃdabhadramuvācedaṃ kṛcchrātsaṃstabhya bālakaḥ
Anak itu amat kurus, kusta pada tubuhnya bernanah, dan hampir pingsan di tiap langkah; dengan susah payah ia meneguhkan diri lalu berkata demikian kepada Nandabhadra.
