Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 41
भूय आरोपयेत्तं तु नरं तस्मिन्सपत्रकम् । तुलितो यदि वर्धेत शुद्धो भवति धर्मतः
bhūya āropayettaṃ tu naraṃ tasminsapatrakam | tulito yadi vardheta śuddho bhavati dharmataḥ
Kemudian orang itu hendaknya ditempatkan kembali di atas timbangan itu, beserta daun tersebut. Jika ketika ditimbang ia menjadi lebih berat, maka menurut dharma ia dinyatakan suci (tak bersalah).
