स्नात्वार्णवमहीतोये तस्य स्यान्मनसेप्सितम् । कार्तिके च चतुर्द्देश्यां कृष्णायां श्रद्धयान्वितः

Transliteration

snātvārṇavamahītoye tasya syānmanasepsitam | kārtike ca caturddeśyāṃ kṛṣṇāyāṃ śraddhayānvitaḥ

Translation

Sesudah mandi di air samudra dan air suci bumi, tercapailah tujuan yang diidamkan hatinya—terutama pada bulan Kārttika, pada hari caturdaśī di paruh gelap (kṛṣṇa-pakṣa), bila ia berbuat dengan penuh śraddhā.
