नारद उवाच । अव्यक्तोऽस्मिन्निरालोके प्रधानपुरुषावुभौ । अजौ समागतावेकौ केवलं श्रृणुमो वयम्
nārada uvāca | avyakto'sminnirāloke pradhānapuruṣāvubhau | ajau samāgatāvekau kevalaṃ śrṛṇumo vayam
Nārada berkata: “Dalam keadaan yang tak termanifestasi dan tanpa cahaya ini, Pradhāna (Prakṛti purba) dan Puruṣa (Roh Sadar) keduanya hadir—tak terlahirkan, bersatu sebagai satu. Dengarkanlah dari kami kisah ini sebagaimana adanya.”
