ततः परं क्रौञ्चसंज्ञं द्विगुणं हि घृताब्धिना । ततः शाल्मलिद्वीपं च द्विगुणं तावतैव च
tataḥ paraṃ krauñcasaṃjñaṃ dviguṇaṃ hi ghṛtābdhinā | tataḥ śālmalidvīpaṃ ca dviguṇaṃ tāvataiva ca
Sesudah itu ada benua bernama Krauñca, dua kali ukurannya, dikelilingi samudra ghee (mentega suci). Lalu menyusul Śālmalidvīpa juga, dua kali lebih besar, dengan cara yang sama.
