Transliteration

vīraṃ hi puruṣaṃ hatvā gosahasreṇa mucyate | yathākathaṃcitpuruṣo na haṃtavyastato budhaiḥ

Translation

Membunuh seorang pria yang gagah berani dapat ditebus dengan penebusan berupa seribu ekor sapi. Karena itu, orang bijak tidak sepatutnya membunuh manusia dengan cara apa pun.
