Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta), narrative voice; addressed to “Pārtha” as listener-epithet in the telling
Listener: Pārtha / Phālguna (Arjuna)
Scene: A Himalayan sacrificial ground: the homa fire subsides into glowing embers; Himavat, regal and mountain-like, offers auspicious gifts as priests conclude mantra-recitation; the atmosphere is pure and serene.
Ritual worship joined with faith and auspicious giving purifies sin and yields dharmic fulfillment.
A specific tīrtha is not named in this verse; the merit is tied to the sacred rite (homa) and its conclusion.
Homa is explicitly referenced, and dāna (an auspicious gift) at the end of the homa is indicated.
