अनयोर्हिफलं ग्राह्यं सारता नात्र काचन । अर्धदेही च मनुजस्त्वसंस्पृश्यः सतांमतः

Transliteration

anayorhiphalaṃ grāhyaṃ sāratā nātra kācana | ardhadehī ca manujastvasaṃspṛśyaḥ satāṃmataḥ

Translation

Dari keduanya ini, hanya ‘hasil’ lahiriah yang dapat dipetik—tiada hakikat sejati di sini. Dan manusia ‘setengah-bertubuh’ dipandang oleh orang-orang saleh sebagai asanspṛśya, yakni patut dihindari dari sentuhan dalam tata susila dan upacara.
