Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 172
तत्रापि तादृशो जज्ञे नैगमेय इति श्रुतः । ततो विनद्य स्कंदाद्याश्चत्वारस्तं तदाभ्ययुः
tatrāpi tādṛśo jajñe naigameya iti śrutaḥ | tato vinadya skaṃdādyāścatvārastaṃ tadābhyayuḥ
Di sana pun lahir sosok serupa, yang dalam tradisi dikenal sebagai Naigameya. Lalu, dengan gemuruh pekik, Skanda dan tiga yang lain serentak menerjangnya.
