महादेव उवाच । पित्रा हि ते परिज्ञातं दृष्ट्वा त्वां रूपशालिनीम् । बालां स्वयंवरं पुत्री महं दास्यामि नान्यथा
mahādeva uvāca | pitrā hi te parijñātaṃ dṛṣṭvā tvāṃ rūpaśālinīm | bālāṃ svayaṃvaraṃ putrī mahaṃ dāsyāmi nānyathā
Mahādewa bersabda, “Ayahmu sungguh telah memahami perkara ini setelah melihatmu, wahai yang bercahaya oleh rupa. Ia akan menyerahkan putrinya yang muda dalam svayaṃvara—demikianlah, tidak dengan cara lain.”
