tasmādidaṃ tvahamapibravīmi surasattamāḥ | nāsti dānasamaṃ kiṃcitsatyaṃ sārasvato jagau
Karena itu, wahai para dewa yang utama, aku pun menyatakan: tiada sesuatu pun yang menyamai dana (sedekah suci). Sungguh, demikianlah Sarasvata menuturkan kebenaran.
