यः कृशाश्वः कृशधनः कृशभृत्यः कृशातिथिः । स वै प्रोक्तः कृशोनाम न शरीरकृशः कृशऋ
yaḥ kṛśāśvaḥ kṛśadhanaḥ kṛśabhṛtyaḥ kṛśātithiḥ | sa vai proktaḥ kṛśonāma na śarīrakṛśaḥ kṛśaṛ
Ia yang kudanya serba kurus, hartanya serba sedikit, pelayannya serba kurang, dan jamuan bagi tamunya pun serba kurang—dialah yang disebut ‘sungguh-sungguh papa’, bukan sekadar yang tubuhnya kurus.
