स तमुद्ग्राह्य वेगेन दानवाय मुमोच वै । दानवेन्द्रस्तमप्राप्तं वियत्येव शतैः शरैः
sa tamudgrāhya vegena dānavāya mumoca vai | dānavendrastamaprāptaṃ viyatyeva śataiḥ śaraiḥ
Mengangkat gada itu, ia melemparkannya dengan dahsyat kepada sang Dānava. Namun raja para Dānava, sebelum gada itu mencapai dirinya, menjatuhkannya di angkasa dengan ratusan anak panah.
