क्रुद्धोऽथ महिषो दैत्यो वरुणं समुपाद्रवत् । तमंतकमुखासन्नमालोक्य हिमदीधितिः
kruddho'tha mahiṣo daityo varuṇaṃ samupādravat | tamaṃtakamukhāsannamālokya himadīdhitiḥ
Lalu asura Mahiṣa yang murka menerjang Dewa Varuṇa. Melihatnya mendekat bagaikan Maut di hadapan wajah, Himadīdhiti—Candra yang bercahaya sejuk—pun memperhatikannya.
