ततः खड्गेन च शिरश्छेत्तुमैच्छदमर्षणः । ततः कलकलो जज्ञे देवानां सुमहांस्तदा । कुजंभस्य वशं प्राप्तं दृष्ट्वा निरृतिमाहवे
tataḥ khaḍgena ca śiraśchettumaicchadamarṣaṇaḥ | tataḥ kalakalo jajñe devānāṃ sumahāṃstadā | kujaṃbhasya vaśaṃ prāptaṃ dṛṣṭvā nirṛtimāhave
Kemudian yang murka itu hendak menebas kepalanya dengan pedang. Saat itu juga timbullah kegemparan besar di antara para dewa, melihat Nirṛti di medan laga telah jatuh di bawah kuasa Kujaṃbha.
