ईश्वर उवाच । अजरामरता नास्ति नामरूपभृतोयतः । ममापि देहपातः स्यादवधिं कुरु जीविते
īśvara uvāca | ajarāmaratā nāsti nāmarūpabhṛtoyataḥ | mamāpi dehapātaḥ syādavadhiṃ kuru jīvite
Īśvara bersabda: “Bagi makhluk berjasad yang memikul nama dan rupa, tiada keadaan tanpa tua dan mati. Bahkan bagiku pun ada penanggalan tubuh; maka tetapkanlah batas umurmu.”
