Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 2
ब्रह्मोवाच । स्वस्थाने वाडवाः सर्वे हर्षनिर्भरमानसाः । अग्निहोत्रपरा केऽपि केऽपि यज्ञपरायणाः
brahmovāca | svasthāne vāḍavāḥ sarve harṣanirbharamānasāḥ | agnihotraparā ke'pi ke'pi yajñaparāyaṇāḥ
Brahmā bersabda: “Semua Vāḍava tetap pada kedudukan masing-masing, hati mereka dipenuhi sukacita. Sebagian tekun pada Agnihotra, dan sebagian lagi sepenuhnya menekuni yajña.”
