स्नानार्थं देवतानां च ऋषीणां भावितात्मनाम् । तत्र स्नात्वा च पीत्वा च सर्वपापैः प्रमुच्यते
snānārthaṃ devatānāṃ ca ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām | tatra snātvā ca pītvā ca sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate
Tempat suci itu diperuntukkan bagi mandi suci para dewa dan para resi yang jiwanya telah disucikan. Setelah mandi di sana dan meminum airnya, seseorang terbebas dari segala dosa.

Scene: A serene forest-tirtha where devas and rishis bathe; clear water, lotuses, ascetics with matted hair, subtle divine presence; a pilgrim drinks cupped water after bathing.
Holy bathing and reverent use of tīrtha-water purify the practitioner and dissolve accumulated sin.
