Transliteration

sāmavedāṃgapārajñāstraividyā dharma vittamāḥ | taponiṣṭhā śubhācārāḥ satyavrataparāyaṇāḥ

Mereka mengetahui seberang jauh Sāmaveda beserta cabang-cabangnya; mahir dalam tiga pengetahuan Veda (traividyā), unggul sebagai pengetahu dharma—teguh dalam tapa, berperilaku mulia, dan berpegang pada ikrar kebenaran.
