Vyāsa (immediately before ‘Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca’; thus Vyāsa is speaking here)
Tirtha: Bakulārka
Type: kshetra
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira (contextual)
Scene: A devotee at dawn on Saptamī-Sunday stands facing the rising Sun, offering arghya; a bakula tree shades a small Surya-shrine labeled ‘Bakulārka’.
Regular worship and mindful remembrance of a sanctified divine form (here, Bakulārka) generate enduring well-being across lifetimes.
Bakulārka is presented as a sacred locus/manifestation associated with the bakula tree and the Sun within the Dharmāraṇya narrative.
Smaraṇa (devotional remembrance/meditation) of Bakulārka on ravi-yuktā saptamī, alongside pūjā as the general practice.
