कन्यादानं च यः कुर्यादस्मिन्क्षेत्रे च पुत्रक । उद्वाहपरिपूतात्मा ब्रह्मलोके महीयते
kanyādānaṃ ca yaḥ kuryādasminkṣetre ca putraka | udvāhaparipūtātmā brahmaloke mahīyate
Dan wahai anak terkasih, siapa pun yang melaksanakan kanyādāna di tanah suci ini—jiwanya disucikan oleh saṁskāra pernikahan—ia dimuliakan di Brahmaloka.
