एष ते तनयो राजञ्छैशवे रोगपीडितः । त्वया वने परित्यक्तः सह मात्रा रुजार्तया
eṣa te tanayo rājañchaiśave rogapīḍitaḥ | tvayā vane parityaktaḥ saha mātrā rujārtayā
‘Inilah putramu, wahai Raja—sejak kecil dilanda penyakit. Engkau meninggalkannya di hutan bersama ibunya, yang juga tersiksa oleh derita.’
