देव्युवाच । सत्यं वदसि भो दूत नानृतं किंचिदुच्यते । परन्त्वेका कृता पूर्वं प्रतिज्ञा तान्निबोध मे
devyuvāca | satyaṃ vadasi bho dūta nānṛtaṃ kiṃciducyate | parantvekā kṛtā pūrvaṃ pratijñā tānnibodha me
Sang Dewi bersabda: “Wahai utusan, engkau berkata benar; sedikit pun tiada dusta. Namun dahulu aku telah membuat satu ikrar; pahamilah itu dariku.”
