Orang suci itu menegakkan Liṅga bernama Vyāseśvara. Wahai brāhmaṇa, dengan memandangnya saja seseorang menjadi penguasa tutur kata dalam ilmu-ilmu pengetahuan.

Tattva Level: pati
Sthala Purana: A virtuous agent establishes a liṅga titled ‘Vyāseśvara’. The sthala-idea is that darśana of this liṅga grants vāg-vaibhava (mastery of speech) and vidyā—an anugraha-phala aligned with Vyāsa’s archetype as compiler and teacher.
Significance: Darśana (and by extension arcana) yields vidyā-prāpti and eloquence—interpretable in Siddhānta as Śiva’s grace removing āṇava/karma obscurations that impede jñāna and vāk-śakti.
Role: teaching
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that contact with Śiva through Liṅga-darśana is transformative: Śiva’s grace refines intellect and speech, turning learning into a sattvic, dharma-aligned power rather than mere scholarship.
The Liṅga is Saguna Śiva’s accessible form for devotees; the verse highlights that even simple darśana (reverent viewing) of the consecrated Liṅga can bestow Śiva’s anugraha (grace) as wisdom and eloquence.
Perform Liṅga-darśana with devotion—offer water and bilva, recite the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and pray for purity of speech (vāṅ-śuddhi) and right understanding before study or teaching.
