Setelah ia demikian disapa olehnya, sang wanita jelita seketika menjadi ‘beraroma semerbak sejauh satu yojana’, lalu tampil amat elok, memesona, dan menyenangkan dipandang.

The verse highlights the swift power of divinely sanctioned speech and grace: in an instant, an ordinary state is transformed into auspiciousness and beauty, symbolizing inner purification when one aligns with dharma and the Lord’s will (Pati’s anugraha).
Saguna Shiva’s grace is often shown in the Purana through tangible, perceivable changes—beauty, fragrance, and auspicious qualities—mirroring how Linga worship purifies the devotee’s body-mind and makes life ‘fragrant’ with virtue and devotion.
The takeaway is śuddhi (purification) through devotion: regular Linga-pūjā with mantra (especially the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), along with vibhūti (Tripuṇḍra) and disciplined conduct, is portrayed as producing swift inner refinement reflected outwardly.
