Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Role: teaching
The verse teaches that Śiva as Pati (the Lord) is the Antaryāmī—indwelling consciousness—who empowers even Brahmā’s speech; sacred history and Purāṇic revelation are shown as guided by the Lord’s inner presence, not merely human authorship.
While the Liṅga is the accessible Saguna focus of worship, this verse highlights the same Śiva as the subtle Antaryāmī within—showing that outer worship and inner realization converge in the one Lord who reveals dharma through scripture.
Meditate on Śiva as Antaryāmī in one’s own voice and breath—reciting the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with mindful speech, truthfulness, and purity, seeing mantra and scripture as Śiva’s power manifest through the throat.
