Trayyāruṇi, resi-penyair yang bijaksana, adalah putra Purukutsa. Kepadanya lahir seorang putra bernama Satyavrata, pemuda yang sangat kuat.

It establishes a dharmic lineage: wisdom (Vedic learning) and truth-vows (satyavrata) are presented as the seedbed for strength and spiritual fitness, aligning with Shaiva Siddhanta where disciplined conduct supports devotion to Pati (Shiva).
Though the verse is genealogical, it frames the type of devotee-fit character—truthful, learned, and disciplined—considered qualified for Saguna Shiva worship through Linga-seva, mantra-japa, and temple observances described elsewhere in the Purana.
The implied practice is satya-vrata (a vow of truth) as a foundational niyama, supporting steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and regular Shaiva discipline such as bhasma-dhāraṇa and devotion-oriented study.
