Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadashiva
Role: liberating
It highlights lokahita (universal welfare) as a divine motive: higher powers intervene not for personal gain but to restore balance, supporting the Shaiva view that grace operates for the uplift of bound souls (paśu) within the order of Dharma.
Though Viṣṇu is named, the Uma Saṁhitā’s Shaiva frame emphasizes that saguna divine action—manifest power, radiance, and protection—functions within the larger governance of Pati (Śiva). Devotees learn to revere manifest divine help while orienting it toward Śiva-centered liberation.
Meditate on tejas (divine light) as protective grace while repeating a Śiva-mantra such as the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) for lokahita-saṅkalpa (welfare intention), aligning personal practice with the good of all beings.
