Vāyu-jaya (Prāṇa-vijaya) and Yogic Mastery over Time — वायुजय (प्राणविजय) तथा कालजय
लोहकारो यथा भस्त्रामापूर्य्य मुखतो मुने । साधयेद्वायुना कर्म तद्वद्योगी समभ्यसेत्
lohakāro yathā bhastrāmāpūryya mukhato mune | sādhayedvāyunā karma tadvadyogī samabhyaset
Wahai resi, sebagaimana pandai besi mengisi bellow dengan mulut dan menyelesaikan pekerjaannya dengan daya angin, demikian pula sang yogin hendaknya berulang-ulang melatih dan menguasai disiplin prāṇa, daya-hidup napas.

It teaches that yogic realization is not accidental but achieved through steady abhyāsa—training prāṇa like a craftsman uses air to make fire effective—so the mind becomes fit for Shiva-realization (Pati) and release from bonds (pāśa).
Breath-mastery supports one-pointedness (ekāgratā), making Linga-worship, mantra-japa, and dhyāna on Saguna Shiva stable; the disciplined prāṇa becomes a vehicle for inner worship where the Linga is contemplated in the heart.
Regular prāṇāyāma and prāṇa-saṃyama (measured breath practice) as a daily discipline, ideally paired with Shiva mantra-japa such as the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) for steadiness and purification.
