Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It shows Śiva as Pati—the Lord who bestows anugraha (grace). By His satisfaction, He empowers a devotee to become a vehicle for dharma through sacred composition, and grants enduring kīrtī that supports the spiritual upliftment of beings.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva’s personal responsiveness: when worship and devotion please Him, He directly grants boons. In Linga-worship, this same principle is emphasized—Śiva’s prasāda transforms the devotee’s life into service, teaching, and remembrance of Him.
Cultivate devotion that “pleases the Lord” through daily japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), Linga-pūjā with bhāsma (Tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa, and offering one’s speech and learning to Śiva as a vow of scriptural study and truthful teaching.
