उपमन्युकुमारस्य क्षीरार्थ-प्रार्थना तथा शिवप्रसाद-निबन्धनम् | Upamanyu’s Longing for Milk and the Doctrine of Shiva’s Grace
तपसा तस्य बालस्य ह्युपमन्योर्महात्मनः । चराचरं च भुवनं प्रदीपितमभून्मुने
tapasā tasya bālasya hyupamanyormahātmanaḥ | carācaraṃ ca bhuvanaṃ pradīpitamabhūnmune
Wahai resi, oleh tapa brata anak mulia Upamanyu, seluruh alam—yang bergerak maupun yang tak bergerak—menjadi bercahaya, seakan tersulut sinar suci.
