ब्रह्मोवाच । इत्याकर्ण्य वचस्तस्यास्संस्तुतः परमेश्वरः । सुप्रसन्नतरश्चाभूच्छंकरो भक्तवत्सलः
brahmovāca | ityākarṇya vacastasyāssaṃstutaḥ parameśvaraḥ | suprasannataraścābhūcchaṃkaro bhaktavatsalaḥ
Brahmā bersabda: Mendengar ucapannya dan menerima pujiannya, Tuhan Tertinggi—Śaṅkara yang penuh kasih kepada para bhakta—menjadi semakin berkenan dan amat bersukacita.
