दक्षयज्ञ-प्रसङ्गे देवतानां आश्वासनं तथा दण्डविधानम् | Consolation of the Devas and the Ordinance of Consequences in the Dakṣa-Yajña Episode
श्रीमहादेव उवाच । शृणुतं सावधानेन मम वाक्यं सुरोत्तमौ । यथार्थं वच्मि वां तात वां क्रोधं सर्वदासहम्
śrīmahādeva uvāca | śṛṇutaṃ sāvadhānena mama vākyaṃ surottamau | yathārthaṃ vacmi vāṃ tāta vāṃ krodhaṃ sarvadāsaham
Śrī Mahādeva bersabda: “Wahai yang utama di antara para dewa, dengarkan sabda-Ku dengan saksama. Wahai yang terkasih, Aku mengatakan kebenaran sebagaimana adanya; Aku senantiasa mampu menahan dan meredam amarah kalian.”
