The verse proclaims Shiva’s supremacy as Pati (the Lord) whom even Vishnu, Brahma, the devas, sages, and Siddhas worship—teaching that liberation is approached through steadfast devotion to Shiva.
By describing universal adoration of the Lord, it supports Saguna-upasana—worship of Shiva with attributes—commonly expressed in the Shiva Purana through Linga worship as a direct, accessible form of devotion.
The takeaway is nitya-bhajana (daily worship): regular Shiva puja and japa—especially the Panchakshara mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—performed with a steady, reverential mind.
