The verse teaches that the soul destined for Shiva’s path manifests auspicious qualities naturally by divine ordination—virtues are not merely social traits but signs of inner readiness for Shiva-bhakti and grace.
In Shaiva Siddhanta, Saguna Shiva is approached through devotion and purity. The ‘entry of virtues’ points to the inner qualification for Linga-worship—steadiness, humility, and devotion that make worship fruitful and receptive to Shiva’s anugraha (grace).
