Brahma
Tattva Level: pashu
Cosmic Event: svapna-nimitta (dream as omen/portent)
The verse shows how divine indications (such as dreams) become instruments of Īśvara’s guidance, moving the household and the world toward the destined union of Śiva and Pārvatī—an event central to Shaiva dharma and cosmic order.
Though the verse is narrative, it supports Saguna Śiva-bhakti by portraying the Lord’s will unfolding through signs; devotees learn to trust Śiva’s providence as the personal Lord who guides events toward dharma and the worshipful relationship with Him.
No specific rite is prescribed in this line; the takeaway is mindful receptivity—remembering Śiva, praying for right discernment, and maintaining steady bhakti (e.g., quiet japa of the Pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) when auspicious signs arise.
