The Episode of Invitation and the Divine Feast
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
The verse highlights Shiva’s sovereign assurance: Dharma proceeds first, yet Shiva’s presence follows without delay. In Shaiva Siddhanta, this reflects Pati (Shiva) guiding the cosmic order (dharma) and confirming that divine grace is never absent when righteousness is upheld.
Shiva speaks in a personal, Saguna mode—accessible, responsive, and relational. Such narration supports devotional worship (bhakti) toward the Linga as the tangible focus through which the devotee experiences Shiva’s immediate protection and guidance.
The practical takeaway is śaraṇāgati (trustful surrender): proceed in dharma while remembering Shiva with japa—especially the Panchakshara “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as an inner assurance that the Lord ‘arrives quickly’ as grace in the seeker’s path.
