मेनायाः क्रोध-विलापः — Menā’s Lament and Reproach
to the Sage
न माता न पिता भ्राता न बन्धुर्गोत्रजोऽपि हि । नो सुरूपं न चातुर्य्यं न गुहं वास्य किंचन
na mātā na pitā bhrātā na bandhurgotrajo'pi hi | no surūpaṃ na cāturyyaṃ na guhaṃ vāsya kiṃcana
Ia tidak memiliki ibu, ayah, saudara, ataupun kerabat segaris keturunan. Ia pun tidak berwajah elok, tidak cerdas, dan sama sekali tiada keunggulan tersembunyi padanya.
