Nārada’s Arrival at Himālaya’s Palace and the Description of Viśvakarman’s Marvels
Tattva Level: pasha
It teaches that even the highest devas can be overcome by māyā when confronted with the Lord’s radiant manifested power, pointing the seeker to take refuge in Pati (Śiva) as the true source beyond limited divine offices.
The verse highlights the potency of the Lord’s “pratirūpa” (manifest form), supporting Saguna worship—such as Linga-upāsanā—where the devotee approaches the transcendent through a sanctified, grace-filled manifestation.
Cultivate humility and steadiness through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and contemplative remembrance that all powers, even deva-status, are subordinate to Śiva’s grace.
