शिवशिवयोर्जगत्पितृमातृत्व-प्रतिपादनं तथा मेनायाः विमोहः (Śiva–Śivā as Cosmic Father and Mother; Menā’s Delusion and the Sages’ Intervention)
कृत्वा प्रतिज्ञां देवेशो दृष्ट्वा क्लेशमसंख्यकम् । दुहितुस्ते तपःस्थानमाजगाम द्विजात्मकः
kṛtvā pratijñāṃ deveśo dṛṣṭvā kleśamasaṃkhyakam | duhituste tapaḥsthānamājagāma dvijātmakaḥ
Setelah menetapkan tekadnya, Sang Penguasa para dewa—melihat penderitaan putrimu yang tak terhitung—datang ke tempat tapanya, dengan mengambil wujud seorang dvija (brahmana).
