सत्यप्रतिज्ञा-तपःसंवादः

Pārvatī’s Vow of Truth and the Dialogue on Her Tapas

कपालिजायेति सती दक्षेण परिवर्जिता । यज्ञे भागप्रदानाय शंभुश्चापि विवर्जितः

kapālijāyeti satī dakṣeṇa parivarjitā | yajñe bhāgapradānāya śaṃbhuścāpi vivarjitaḥ

Dakṣa menolak Satī sambil mengejeknya sebagai “istri Kapālin (Pembawa Tengkorak)”. Dan dalam yajña, untuk pembagian bagian persembahan, Śambhu (Śiva) pun turut disingkirkan.
