एतत्परं शिवज्ञानं तत्त्वतस्तदुदाहृतम् । जानाति ज्ञानवानेव नान्यः कश्चिदृषीश्वराः
etatparaṃ śivajñānaṃ tattvatastadudāhṛtam | jānāti jñānavāneva nānyaḥ kaścidṛṣīśvarāḥ
Pengetahuan tertinggi tentang Śiva ini telah dinyatakan sesuai dengan hakikat tattva. Wahai para penguasa di antara para resi, hanya orang yang sungguh bijaksana yang memahaminya—tiada yang lain.

Steady japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with contemplative inquiry into Shiva-tattva is implied; it is best supported by disciplined purity practices such as Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa with focused meditation.
