Ṣaḍvidhārtha-Parijñāna: Praṇavārtha and the Sixfold Unity of Meaning (षड्विधार्थपरिज्ञानम् / प्रणवार्थपरिज्ञानम्)
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It teaches the Shaiva Siddhanta view that Shiva (Pati) is distinct from the soul (pashu) and that liberation happens by His anugraha (grace), which can work through both concealment (tirobhava) and revelation to mature the soul toward moksha.
Linga/Saguna worship is a concrete means to receive Shiva’s grace: devotion, mantra, and ritual purify the soul so that the Lord’s anugraha overcomes veiling and leads to direct realization of Shiva beyond bondage.
Contemplate Shiva as the sole bestower of liberation while practicing japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady dhyāna on the Linga, praying for anugraha that removes tirobhava (inner obscuration).
