Kemudian ucapkan kata “ghasana-utsuka” dengan akhiran kasus datif (vibhakti keempat); setelah melafalkannya dalam bentuk parasmaipada, selanjutnya ucapkan kata “devāya” (kepada Sang Deva).

Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: ghasanotsukāya … devāya
It emphasizes that mantra-japa is not random speech: correct formation and reverent address (“unto the Deva”) refine intention and focus the mind toward Pati (Śiva), supporting disciplined devotion and inner purification.
By instructing the devotee to explicitly address “devāya,” the verse frames worship as direct offering to the personal Lord (Saguna Śiva), which in Linga-worship becomes a verbal oblation accompanying pūjā and japa.
It suggests careful mantra recitation (japa) with correct wording and case-ending, typically performed during Śiva-pūjā—often alongside traditional supports like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa for steadiness and sanctity.
