न ममेति वदेत्पश्चादुद्देशत्याग ईरितः । अतः परं विविद्यैति कपोतकायेति मन्त्रयोः
na mameti vadetpaścāduddeśatyāga īritaḥ | ataḥ paraṃ vividyaiti kapotakāyeti mantrayoḥ
Sesudah itu ucapkan “na mama” — “bukan milikku”; inilah yang disebut pelepasan klaim kepemilikan. Selanjutnya, pelajarilah dengan tepat dan terapkan dua mantra yang diawali “kapotakāya…”.

Linga-worship is not only external offering but inner surrender; saying “not mine” converts ritual into true devotion by offering the ego’s ownership back to Pati (Shiva), the Lord of all, making Saguna worship a doorway to higher knowledge.
A practice of verbal and mental renunciation—repeating “na mameti” before further mantra-recitation—followed by learning and applying the prescribed pair of mantras (“kapotakāya…”), indicating a sequential discipline: tyāga first, mantra next.
