पुनानः सोम जागृविरव्यो वारे परि प्रियः । त्वं विप्रो अभवोऽङ्गिरस्तमो मध्वा यज्ञं मिमिक्ष नः ॥

punānáḥ soma jā́gṛvir avyó vā́re pári priyáḥ | tváṃ vípro abhavo aṅgíras-tamo mádhvā yajñáṃ mimikṣa naḥ ||

Wahai Soma, engkau memurnikan dirimu; terjaga dan tercinta, engkau bergerak mengitari saringan wol. Engkau telah menjadi resi, yang paling Angiras; dengan kemanisanmu, campurkan dan suburkan yajña kami.
