समिन्द्रो रायो बृहतीरधूनुत सं क्षोणी समु सूर्यम् । सं शुक्रासः शुचयः सं गवाशिरः सोमा इन्द्रममन्दिषुः ॥

sám indro rā́yo br̥hatī́r adhūnuta sám kṣóṇī sám u sū́ryam | sám śukrā́saḥ śúcayaḥ sám gavā́śiraḥ sómā índram amandiṣuḥ ||

Indra menggerakkan kelimpahan yang luas—bumi dan surya disatukan dalam satu keselarasan. Soma yang terang dan suci, bercampur dengan ‘sapi-sapi’ (sinar), telah menggembirakan Indra, menyatukan kejernihan, keluasan, dan penerangan dalam diri sang pencari.
